Have you ever pondered where liberals want to live, in light of the fact they want everything free or provided by others.?

Very true but they also imprison those around them through their busybody progressive use of coercion via government force.

Prisons look really bad in photographs; when I looked at that photograph, I couldn't help thinking......I wonder how many people have ever seen a REAL prison? Our nearest big town is Terre Haute, (about 20 or 22 miles) I'm regularly in TH at least once a week, and sometimes 2 or 3 times per week; The huge TH Federal Prison is only about 2 or 3 miles south of the business area where I go a lot, and occasionally I'll drive down just to look at it; it's a VERY "foreboding" looking place! From what I hear, it's much, much WORSE when you have to "live" there! It looks even worse than the prison in the picture.

Yeah, with everything "supplied", and "paid for" by other people, you would think being in prison would be a liberals's paradise; but they tell me that not all of the "room mates" are "nice"! (Having a great big, "not-so-nice" room-mate would really spoil things )........(but at least you wouldn't have to worry about Obamacare! )

"Liberalism is a mental disease"- Rush. Maybe a lock up mental hospital instead of a prison? Then they could pay for their own maintenance!

This post ought to "ginger" things up

No need, it was very clear. It is your comprehension abilities that need attention.

Let's not forget this came from a guy who has drug addiction issues. So, mentally ill to start with.

The drug "issues" were more about illegally obtaining additional prescriptions for a LEGAL pain drug, and his records were ILLEGALLY obtained by the self be-knighted liberal press.

I don't recall any accusations of addiction, and in the words of an infamous Liberal testifying about Benghazi, "What difference does it make now"? He is off the drugs, and Liberalism is still mental disorder. If you were experiencing the same level of pain as he, your liberalism might convince you too that it was a correct course of action.

Some facts/truth for you, (neither left or right)

1) There's only one reason to have multiple prescriptions, and filling them all over town. It's called addiction.

2) Addiction is a mental illness. His actions, described above are what all addicts do when they can not obtain enough meds/drugs. Especially with pain killers, which are addictive to start with.

3) If he was in so much pain, the proper course of action would be to report it to his physician. The only reason the doctor wouldn't prescribe something stronger would be he already was at the maximum allowed.

4) So the patient/addict does whatever he needs to do in order to get more drugs. This is the thinking/behavior that all addicts use. At this point we are not taking meds as prescribed. We have crossed that imaginary line. We are addicted and need more and more.

5) Most strong pain meds are class 2 narcotics. What happens is, when the doctor writes the prescription it's done on a special pad that makes duplicate copies of the original. 1 for you, 1 for your file and 1 that is sent directly to the D.E.A. Most people don't know about 1 to the D.E.A by law.
No one filling multiple prescriptions will get away with it for long before the DEA shows up at your house. This is no doubt how those nasty media folks found out about Rush's game.

As Hillary said: "What difference does it make now?"

Like many others he has beat the problem, and I don't believe it was the DEA's sleuthing that found out about it. I seem to recall he was "ratted out" by a maid.
