This one makes me want to cry. It looks like there's a very gentle spotlight on the dog and a little less light on the human, and then even less light on everything else. The focus is very sharp in this one, and the expressions of the dog and the human are extraordinary.

Motion blur on the hands...Hmmm

I want to feed the dog.

What is the instrument leaning against the wall? It reminds me somewhat of a didgeridoo from Australia.

I want to learn to take photos with this much depth and feeling. The colors are extraordinary. I love the dog's resignation and the enthusiasm of the drummer.
And I feel like I could reach out and feel the coolness of the stones and the soft fur of the dog. Does this mean I have to buy a Leica to get this kind of quality? ;(

I agree, Nightski. Very 'emotional' photo. Beautiful and troubling at the same time. The dog seems sad and needs food...and maybe so does the young man.

Beautiful emotional street shot, Graham. I only wish I could do 1/10th as good with people. Was there any post processing involved? The colors are superb.

That's what it is. I know because I have one lugged back to the States.

Wow, I like this one best so far! I was wondering if the Leica shot color or not.

I too want to feed the dog.

On a revisit I feel it could use a small tilt to the right...if that didn't end up losing all the doggies freeboard.

Hmm, the shopfront components in the area of the guy are plumb, if anything, to my eye, it wants to rotate counter clockwise, but that is only by the tiniest amount... it's all in the eye of the beholder :-)
