Okay, first off, I had quite a chuckle at this little cutie staring back at me when I clicked on the topic.

Secondly, thank you Andrew. I appreciate this. A picture is worth a 1000 words, so this is worth 2,000.

One question. Were you standing in the exact same spot for both shots?

Thanks Sandra, Yes I was in the same spot. The only movement I made was to twist the zoom ring to zoom in from the wide angle to the tight shot. My lens hood was firmly pushed in to the wire of the enclosure to be able to focus it out.

I rather don't think you would want to hear my comment on these so I will abstain unless you specifically ask. Rob.

Your comments are always welcome as long as you keep your criticisms to the technique, and refrain from insults to the poster. :-)

When have I ever tried to insult someone asking for help or advice?

Why Rob, you've been a perfect gentleman. I was just trying to guess why you think your comment wouldn't be welcome.

Hi Rob. Always happy to hear the truth. I know what I think is wrong with the shots but if no one comments how do I learn.

If you don't want to make them public PM them to me. I am old enough and ugly enough not to worry, I can always ignore them if I don't agree.

It's just that after my recent two button reset I've become all soft and fluffy inside, cautious to say anything that may hurt someone's feelings.

Hi Rob, I can see the difference with your pping, but also wanted to read your thoughts as well. I have to admit that my competencies and enthusiasm for image manipulation is limited as are the processing software packages that I have at the moment.

I did those quickly for illustration and if you can bear with me I will write my thoughts tomorrow. Been a big day. Tomorrow then. Rob
