I took this from a moving car trying to freeze the trees (or at least a couple) and the motion are the leaves. I changed the colors trying to make it a bit surreal. Does it work or just look like doo doo. Thanks

Very Unique. I'd say Abstract.

Even 'DoDo' sells for use on plants.
The question you must answer for yourself, is, "Does this photo fulfill it's purpose?" What does it say? If so, how well? Only you know the answer to that.

But let's look at it objectively.

The colors, and patterns are interesting. The aesthetics or pleasantness of the composition (arrangement of mass) creates a visual flow up the middle from bottom to top.
What technique used is varied and not typical but unique.
It seems quite soft and lacks specific detail or points of interest. Overall visual impact from 1-10, I would give this a 7.
Does that address your question? :)

I've seen paintings in galleries that didn't look as good as this. It also might make a nice background. Keep it on file.

I would (could) use it as a surreal background overlaid with some chromakey portraits. I like it.

It looks much better than the record $ pictures I've been reading about. Enter it in some contests, it may make you rich.

Try to sell it. That is the best way to figure it out

I agree with JPL that when someone is willing to part with his hard earned money to have it, that says it all! The value of it has officially been set. It sold for $xxx.xx.
It's that way with art work for auction.
It's not the work as you see it that always sets the value, its how the market sees it that counts, especially if you want a return on your investment both in dollars and in self fulfillment. That is of course depending on if you did it to please others or please yourself. I guess the question becomes, "Do you want to be self satisfied, or do you want to make money". Only a few get to have both. :)
