This one is a challenge, pretty much OOC with the exception of a small crop across the top. Good elements - Noel, who normally poses just as an Egyptian Cat, broke gaze and looked to her right ..... and her reflection was caught in the window. Those are the only elements I would like to preserve. The chair, the tilted lamp shade, they can all go ......

Is this the crooked little cat of the crooked little man in the crooked little house? LOL

I am a dog person but I already like this pear shaped cat.

Well, the cat competes with my Shih Tzu, Duncan, for my affection but loses out by a mile. We call her our Egyptian cat because the she normally sits with her front paws together, looking straight forward, just as the two figurines sitting beside her.

I like the 1st shot, because it is different from the mug shots most people take of their pets. I notice that the doorway is tilted, so I'd straighted it and crop out most of the right hand side of the shot(like cut it off between the fugurines), because it detracts from the story.

I love how the neck stripes mimic rolls of fat and how the leg markings match. Definitely a cool cat. The reflection in the first image has me wondering if she is planning someone's demise. I would pay more attention to her for safety sake.

Photoninja, the cat and the lamp beside her are vertically straight, and the center of focus. Do you know of a way I could straighten the doorway without losing them? That's why I said this was such a challenge .... the angles are going every which way. I thought of cropping just below the tilted lamp shade, but then I'd lose her reflection in the door.

Hi Bob,

I hated to lose some of kitty's tail, but it had to go for this version. I did some spot removal and cropping, that's about it.

Thanks H.T. I've never been shy about cutting off people's feet, so I understand why the tail had to go. I like the way you cleaned up the window.

Window cleaning is so much easier in Photoshop. My real windows are always streaky after I clean them. :-P

In the best of all possible worlds, here's what I would like to see....

- Preserve both figurines
- Straighten the lamp shade
- Keep the cat's tail
- Level out the color strip
- Straighten door edge and hardware
- Keep the reflection of the cat in the window

I will work toward those changes in the next few days.

The chair can go ......

Add straighten the roman shade, cover the picture behind the cat
