And the Canon I carry has a 1200mm in a package about the size of the smaller one in that pic! I will stay with mine!! Don't plan to have a need to feel the shoulder pain from the heavy bags!!

BTW, reminds me about comments regarding size of some "other" things........ It ain't the size of the .........., it is whether or not you know how to use it!!

Carry 'em both, the Nikon for my main camera and the Lumix as a backup.

I find larger cameras much easier to handle. My 5D is heavy but feels just right in the hand - so I keep in training by taking it everywhere I go! I do like the idea of my wifes SX50, but every time I try it I manage to press something I didn't mean to, which gets me into a bit of menu, or a function, that I didn't want to be in! Arthritis is a pain.

I love my Nikon D7000. The Lumix doesn't have a viewfinder! Faggitaboutit. I'll keep the Nikon.

A good quality 4/3 mirrorless such as the Olympus OM-D E-M1 would be tempting if the right lenses are available.

The one with the viewfinder, I really don't care who the manufacturer is.
