tassels of variegated grass

This variety of variegated grass in my landscaping grows to over 4 feet high and has leaves of variegated green all summer long, but in the fall it sprouts these tassels that intrigue me. I tried to take a variety of shots in different lighting. The sky was an incredible deep blue yesterday.
