Well Folks...we'll all get a chance to photograph a bright comet this coming November. Comet ISON is on it's way, having just passed the orbit of Jupiter. Some are predicting it will be brighter than a full moon. We'll just have to wait and see, but it sounds as though it could be very spectacular. Nice story and shots gessman.

Please pardon my delayed response. I've had notices turned off and wasn't aware you had visited this thread. I definitely agree with you - it would be great fun to see the total scene and not just the results as long as the scene didn't include me. :roll: Thank you for your visit and comments!

Thank you James. I am eyeing the idea of seeing what ISON looks like from 12,000 ft. So far, for those of us in the U. S., it seems to have been a bit of a bust. Maybe it'll pick up before it moves on. I would sure enjoy firing away with better lens and no film.
