Well done. I bet that is exactly what it looked like when standing there. That's the way HDR should be used.

I agree! Using it for special effects is one thing, but I think a good HDR shouldn't *look* like and HDR...

Enhancing this photo with HDR was the right move. In your use of thirds I would like to have seen the horizon off center a little more than it is. Because of your point of view it probably was not possible to accomplish. Cropping away a small part of dark sky at the top may improve the composition.

Nice processing... but it needs leveling....


As far as composition cropping....: I think it would be a stronger image, if it was also cropped on the left.
