Well, getting towards the end here...
Here are a few done this weekend.
But before I begin I have an announcement, decided on by two of us here on the Challenge
New Challenge
Well folks, we are nearing the end of the alphabet, which was great fun. We saw everything from A to Z and I want also to welcome the people who have stopped by and contributed, welcome aboard, hope you stay aboard while we cruise into a new type of Challenge.
This one will, we hope, invite you to share what you would like to try out as were getting away a bit from pre-determined challenges as we think that many of you might have desires to try something new. Basically photography has two rules. Be yourself and search out originality.
Here is how we would like to do this. We would like you to choose a subject, any subject of your choice, for instance, B&W, fences, sunrises, diagonals, indirect lighting, low light and no light, shadows, weather, places visited that you enjoyed and on and on. So, RR will begin with a subject, a simple one, which will be water. On the day he posts, Sher will announce her choice for the upcoming Challenge as like this, those who like to do fresh photos will have a few days to prepare however archives are readily accepted. The next choice will be up to you people, as there will be a calendar and you find a choice and post it on Shers challenge on the first day. In this format the will also be there for those who might care to reserve a certain date for any reason, possibly an event that youll be attending such as a festival or a few days vacation or even a planned drive to somewhere or nowhere. Of course were pretty loose about this type of format so if there is a blank date, taint no big thang as Ill find a subject.
In this there will also be occasional courses from the Internet. At worst you dont open them, at best, the can be useful as we are all here to learn whenever possible. It could be on a subject in which you are having problems too and together well help you out. This Challenge was set up so as we can be more constructive, try out new challenges and everyone can choose a subject. Do not forget that here we have every level of photographers but we are all on the same level and learning and helping is part of the reason that we are here.
The Challenges will respect the same days as the Alphabet Challenge did, i.e., Thursday, Friday & Saturday; Sunday through Wednesday.
So this is what I call Free Ideas
.let em roll.

No problem, but please ask your questions here as everyone can profit from them
OK, you choose a subject and it remains either from Monday Wednesday or Thursday Sunday, just like we have always done it. Thing is, you find a subject, you dont have to host like before although comments are appreciated, and it is your subject and others will get on to it. In other words, I am not going to spend 40 hrs/week here on this thing and I want to promote the idea that the Challenge is to be run by everyone, not just be a host.
This Challenge has to keep going out of respect for those who have worked their butts off to make it work since the beginning nearly two years ago. It will also return to a Challenge in which we shall learn things as youll see as it goes along.
There will also be a calendar for those who would prefer to reserve for whatever reason.
Stick wit W yes and X etc and after Z the new thing will replace it
