According to my bird book, a double-crested would be the only kind of cormorant in this area. Is this one? A juvenile?

As Swamp Gator says, it is a Double Crested Cormorant and it is a juvenile. You can tell by the whiteish throat and neck.

Thanks for looking and for verifying the ID. I kept wishing that he would pick himself up a bit so I could get a better look. But in researching him, I found that low in the water is just the way they roll.
