hi,I am Bill and I am new to photography. I got on this site to try to learn a few helpful tips that will make my photo's better.I am retired and took this up to have a hobby and found that I love it. I am tring to get some pic up to see where I need to start. Bill

Welcome Bill - I and others like to see what others do. I'm kinda of all over the map as to what I take pictures of - lots of time it's just whatever is in front of me. Here is a random one that is the type of subject I can relate to - simple. Comment or not as you wish and I'll be checking back.

Do not use the RAW format -if you do not know what that is chances are very likely you are using J Peg which is the most common and will work. It should take any size of file but a smaller file will be taken faster and your connection speed will have an effect. After you do your text hit the "Browse" below > select your picture hit the open on your window screen > then hit "Send". Time will vary with variables such as connection speed, file size, and maybe site traffic. Depending on which operating system you are using there should be an indication that it is atetmpting to download. Get up, get a drink, maybe some pizza. One will be taken faster then two or three. You can add a picture after sending you text also as you will have that option next to the edit command once posted. The fine print below is fairly complete as to instructions. Good luck.

Hi Bill...I too am having trouble getting my pics to upload...when I add the attachment and the pic number comes up...I hit send, and the pic id number disappears and nothing happens ....I have waited as long as 45 min or so and still nothing...! Frustrating, esp. when I have followed the inst to a T....

Seems several are having trouble - you may want to try the "Contact us" in blue at the bottom of the screen. I have no idea if they will respond or be of any help but you would not be out of much by trying.

thank you, I have worked with this all night and came up with nothing. I can 't find a place or person to help. a few people gave advise but it didn't help.This is a good idea for this site but if it don't work I do not need it. I would love to have someone from the site management to talk to.Bill
