BIF - to Post(erise), or not?

I like the composition of these two, but the feel of the picture seemed seemed to shout 'Poster' - perhaps I should add 'I do like to be beside....' Which version do you prefer?

they are both great pics, I like the poster version as I could see that on my own walls. I think, for me, it would suit a minimalist decor.

I prefer both! Each is terrific in its own right.

I kind of like the shot, but have to wonder what all the spots on the image are. Sensor dust? Or water spray from the wings?

That's water, they'd had a set-to! I thought about removing the spots but, in the end, decided they were part of the shot - it happens a lot with water birds at take-off. If I were using it as a poster I guess I would take them out. Thanks for looking MT, critique always much appreciated.

Hello, what a great capture! I've always liked the posterized look, and have used it often. But here I would go with the original, because it is such a great capture and well done. The posterized version could be interpreted as a painting, whereas the original shows clearly that you took this in real time, as it actually happened. I also like the softness of the background. It's just enough to anchor and "place" the photo without detracting from the action.

I like them both, but the second one is very nice. I wouldn't eliminate the water drops though. You'll be taking a lot of the movement from the final image. This image would be nice in vector.

You could be right Bozsik, that's what I felt. I don't know what vector is? Thanks for taking the time to comment. Much appreciated.
