Help with a barn

Your HDR opened up the shadows area which is great, but for me it went too far, muddied the sky, and lost color in the grass and trees. It also created the halos at the top of the barn and around the trees which you are already aware of.

Thanks for posting the original. Consider re-doing the HDR for a better over all effect, and still getting your preference on the barn.

You still need to get rid of the light area above the trees. Not easy to do with any program.

I also did this one in HDR. The first one was for different looks on the tin. Thank you

For me, I like this repost much better. I'm suggesting if you have Photoshop, to add some sharpening with the unsharp mask set to no more that 115% with a radius of 1.5 pixels, and a threshold of 3 levels, or use whatever editing program to add some sharpening. It will bring up the detail in the roofing that you like.

I combined three pictures in Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 to get this. I like the way it makes the tin pop on the barn. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get the outline (glow) at the top of the barn to go away. Do you think it detracts from the picture? Any comments and help will be greatly appreciated

Here are two quick edits both done in OnOne Software Perfect Mask 8. You can download a 30 day free trial if you are interested.
On the first one I used the sky color from your edit and personally wasn't totally happy with it. The second one I took the sky from your original and darkened it a bit and think I like it better. Please let me know if I'm on the right track.

I don't know why software lets you select a tone-mapped image. Try photorealism and don't do anything but overlay your images.....halos will go away.
