Last week at 6:30 AM, I caught this sunrise. What an inspiring mornig with the beach to myself. I slightly processed this photograph using NIK software plugin. APS-C, 24-85mm( focal lenghtat 30mm), ISO 200, 1/40 sec, f/25
Is the saturation a little to hot?

Tastes on saturation may vary, but I think this is perfect. It has impact, but looks real. This is a beautiful scene with an interesting sky, great looking ocean, wonderful beach reflection, and as if that's not enough, you've got the silhouette of a tree and a setting sun. The colors are beautiful.

Beautifully composed photograph with great lighting, a well defined subject and visual impact. Nice job and no, the saturation looks fine to me. 8-)

I would be curious to see the original, but for your rendition I saw well done. I feel as if I am there, feet wet, light building, ready for the day. Thank you.

The original with all its blemishes in the rough.

I like this photo very much, and no, it is not to saturated for my taste. A nice level horizon also, well composed.

Just one question. It looks like the footprints go thru the tree a couple of feet up. What is that? I would clean up the tree trunk to get rid of the "footprints" if I were you.

If you would like I will do it for you.

Jim D

Note: I just realized the footprints are going thru a reflection of the base of the tree. Now I am not sure if I would remove them or not.............

I like the adjustments, is it me or is the horizon is a bit low on the right?

I think it's you. :-) This is about as perfect an image that you are going to get of a sunrise, right out of camera. The color is fabulous. I love the quirky little tree in the foreground adding interest to a beautiful image.

Humm, when I scroll the picture/horizon up to the title bar of my browser...it shows not level., Other than that, I agree with your assessment. :)

I see what you are talking about. Going in closer, it is a relflection of the limbs shadow on wet sand. Thanks!

Thanks. The passed week, I was convinced that taking photographs at sunset and sunrise are absotely best times for impacts. There is so much more you can do with the camera.
