Damned if he do and damned if he don't.
Bottom line is that the ACA is still more popular than the Republican Party and many times more popular than the US Congress (approval rating 9%).
Get all the mileage you can while the early rollout problems are uncovered and (eventually) fixed because universal "affordable health care for everyone" is something whose time has come.

From what I have heard so far there is nothing affordable about the ACA at all unless the government is paying your way. But of course that comes as no surprise to anyone who took the time to even do a guesstimate of the math involved.

It won't be perfect and it won't be pretty, but in the end I believe we will all be better off for it.

The band-aids are already being applied to the problems. Todays news conference allowing insurance companies to sell old policies for one year is a band-aid. You know what happens to band-aids? They come off. But in this case the underlying problem has not healed.
I can guarantee that the rules, regulations, amendments to the law, presidential directives, etc. . . that are going to be forced upon us to make Obamacare "work" is going to make the IRS code read like a nursery rhyme.
Don't believe me? Look at any socialistic program coming from our federal government in the last 75 years and you are looking at Obamacare's very near future. Obamacare is simply another method to fuel the greed and corruption that is already present in our government. The rich will get richer (insurance co's and government officials) and the con men will find the cracks in the system and bilk it for millions. And the poor will get poorer.

Well, I can tell you that the president's proposed fix does not fix anything at all, just as he did with the roll out he did not give proper consideration to the complexity of his simple fix, the plans that people have lost have not been reviewed by the state insurance commission for approval as they were not going to be offered, so those plans will have to go through an approval process in each of the states. Beyond that the president has mandated that these insurance companies contact each effected customer and not only offer the plan but to contrast the plan's offerings with plans available under Obamacare. What!? So they have to put their own resources into this mess? How much time and money will this take? Remember that there is hardly more than a month for both the state commissions and these letters to go out be ingested and then plans applied for and accepted... They will also have to reprogram all their computers to accommodate these changes.
Now on top of all of this the new law has greatly effected the risk pools and I am not sure that the insurance companies can even price these policies...
This is the president's shitsandwich that he is trying to pass off to the insurance companies so that he can later point to them and make it look as if it was their lack of caring and understanding that lead them to do the final cancellation on the policies when all along it was his law, you don't turn a major corporation on a dime nor do you expect it to jump through hoops for a hapless president, he has screwed the pooch and he continues to do so with little regard to reality or of the people he is again lying to. There is no way in hell that the insurance companies can comply with not only the new mandates by the president but also with the state regulatory commissions in time to save these policies...
Our prez is a serial liar, his proposal today is little more smoke and mirrors to try and head off proposed actions in the republican house while trying to make himself out to be the good guy, which is also BS, this is his mess and no one elses.
Oh what a tangled web we weave
When first we practice to deceive ...
Barry and his cronies are the masters of deceit ... bordering on treason.

So is Socialism. After that we can work on becoming a Communist Nation.
I would like to thank our benevolent president for allowing me to keep something I legally paid for. Even though it is only for a year (What a Joke this law is). The best is yet to come.
The only thing that is going to be better off is Social Security as we will be dying younger .

The government doesn't do anything 'affordable'. It can only steal from those who have to give to those who don't.
So enjoy it while you have it now.
