A question for Flickr users

I've seen borders around other users photographs. Is there a way to do this on Flickr or does it have to be uploaded that way?

I have Flickr, see my link below, and I have not seen any way to add a border using their interface/software. onOne Perfect Photo Suite 7.0 has a lot of modules within it for enhancing and embellishing images and it has many different types of border presets that one can add to their images.

In Flickr, there is the option to use an onboard post-processing app called Aviary. (You get to it from the 3 white dots menu at the lower right of your photo when you're viewing it.) It has several border options.

Bummer :( It would be too much work to redo my Flickr photos and re-upload all of them.

I didn't know of this (Aviary) and will have to check it out.

You're welcome. Now, you'll find that all their borders are on the heavy side. When I want a thin border, I add it in photoshop, then it is real quick and easy to replace the photo that is in Flickr with the one you just added the border to.

Well, The 'edit in Aviary' option isn't available for me. I get this message when I click on it........

This is a beta version of the photo page redesign and is missing some features. We are working hard on adding new functionality frequently. We will provide most of the functionality you expect on Flickr soon.

While we don't yet support what you’re trying to do, you are free to opt out of the new experience and then opt back in if you wish.

I just went to my page, and they give me the option to try the beta, but the old version is working just fine. Are you sure you have to use the beta version?

I'll have to start putting borders on before uploading.
What's I-View?

I-View is a photo program I use. I really like it. It's simple and easy for me.
