Hello everyone I have been tirelessly trying to get back here and say hello.

This is a hard time of the year for me. I had a lot of losses during this time. I was saddened to hear of Annette. I wrote a poem for her I will post soon. I miss you all very much. I hope you don't think I just forgot about you. No way in the world I would ever forget about my family.

Here are my contributions for this challenge inwill post some more later. Hugs to all my friends and all the new folks I haven't met yet.

Nice start to the V's Marilyn. I am posting a violin picture especially for Pat. We went to a show in Branson that included a very accomplished violinist. She played some very complicated beautiful music. Then in the second half of the show, she came out and climbed one of those ribbon things that the aerialist acrobatic people use. She had her violin hanging from her shoulder. When she would get positioned how she wanted to be, she would stop and play classical music! And she played it so well even upside down, sideways and doing the splits! Our seats were too far back so this picture is not that good, but oh the music was vunerful!

We went to an sunrise raising of the flag. The speaker was a soldier who was in one of the paratrooper planes waiting to take off when the mid-air collision and subsequent ground collision at Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina that killed twenty-four members of the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division preparing for an airborne operation in 1994. It was the worst peacetime loss of life suffered by the Division since the end of World War II. He talked about being hit by a runaway damaged F16 that they never even saw coming at them. He talked about how surviving that day, having his training kick in to help save as many soldiers as possible when he realized he was not hurt badly, changed his life forever. I can only imagine.

And of course, a Veteran's Day Parade.

Violining in the air!
