I'd fix it by not doing what you did to it. Not all photos need HDR.

you are probably right.......but this forum is all about how to make better photos......... and that requires pp.

I thought it might help to know if this was environmental or post processing where we could start over with the original. Thanks.
That second one may be the best example I've seen of unprocessing someone else's rather heavily processed photo achieve a nicer outcome. I cannot imagine how you did that.

I know. I am guilty, the processing tools are so powerful and fun, we keep adding more...

I don't like all of those pp tools...a tad of exposure, a little crop, and some noise reduction......anymore and the photo starts to look phoney....as was my hdr photo....you start talking layers, burning,brushing, etc, etc...and i start to get a #1 migrane whole bottle of fricking Bayor headache.
