I do like the look of this one.
It was after a long day of shooting.
Of course a little photo-shopped!

Please give some feedback.

Hi Philip

Thanks for sharing the photo. I find the background color treatment and vignetting interesting and I also like the model's gaze.

I would have tried not to cut off her right hand at the wrist or cut her body at the waist. Both the white blouse and the amount of her right arm are very bright in the frame and, as such, tend to compete with her face in terms of drawing one's attention. Also having the arms raised in this pose causes the blouse to stick out behind her neck.

There's no right or wrong from a creative standpoint so take this with a grain of salt. It's your vision that matters most. Thanks

I colorize images a lot. That being said this is a little over the top on the blue. Blue color in the shadows or highlights is common on some editorial/fashion stuff. This is just too much.

I love the expression on her face: What mischief can I get into when this session is finished?

Rather than as a photographer, I would like to comment on this photo as a woman.
I do believe she is actually standing up nearly straight, but by cutting off the photo just above the waist, her arms behind her head, and the position of her arms pulling the blouse out of shape, it looks like she's falling backwards.
Lifting the arms pulls the blouse towards the centre, giving too much fabric below the chin and too much and then some on the back. In the back neckline, the brand-name label is visible!
Is it safe to assume this is someone you know? So you'll have the opportunity for a re-take?
Get her to wear a close-fitting (NOT tight-fitting) tank top, with smaller armholes or even a very short sleeve (I see too much of armpit and upper arm showing, too).
The close fit and stretchy material of a tank top should help to define the body shape (bossom), and keep the back and neckline snugly against the body.

Now I'll go back to being a photographer instead of being picky about clothing and stance...

My initial reaction is, finally, we have a photo that we could use in our discussion of negative space, where you have done a mostly good job of cropping, except for the subjects right hand that was cropped to close. Next, I looked at the expression on the models face - and, yes it tells a story and I kept looking at her for awhile, and I kept hoping that she would show some signs of life, that my eyes would either adjust in my early morning gazing at your photo, and more lifelike colors would emerge. So, when I realized that the blues would stay, I would suggest that some selective PP warming of the skin tones to make this beautiful young lady look less goul-like and more lifelike would, IMHO, make this a much more interesting photograph.

It looks like you were really close with a wide angle lens, which accentuates the near arm and upper body and minimizes features farther away. I'm with EstherP regarding the bunched up blouse. It kind of gives her a hunched back look, and the lens makes the armpit the most prominent feature (Ugh!). A lot of the little things that are bothersome about this shot could be resolved by rotating your position to about 45 degrees forward, and by using a lens in the 70mm to 120mm equivalent focal length at a wide aperture. As for the tone, even Rembrant had a blue period.
This is a beautiful model. I hope you have many more opportunities to work with her and I look forward to seeing more of your shots.
