They migrate here this time of year and often seak warmth in the evening on the roads. It always startles me to see them but I like them.

Nice shot, think I would use a telephoto lens on that guy. :lol: Our Wolfe spiders around here get almost as big.

Thanks Ruthiel! I was a little spooked but ended up laying down on the ground with him to get a better shot with a different camera. He was very cooperative

Thanks for looking RetiredPhotog!! That was my first Tarantula outside of a glass tank, he was very still and calm... Don't know about your Wolfe spiders but ours in FL will jump at you and chase you, awful!!
