Canon 6D and CS5

For some reason I cannot open my CR2 files from my 6D in CS5. They open in LR5, but I cannot Edit in Photoshop either. Does anyone know of a solution for that?

I guess I have to Copy as DNG in LR then edit in CS5. That's how I got it to work...

I'm not sure exactly when the 6D was released for sale, but if it came out after CS6 hit the market then CS5 will not support CR2 raw files from the 6D. If the 6D came out before CS6, then all you have to do is update your version of CS5 by going to the menu, help, check for updates.

According to some blog I read I'd have to upgrade to CS6.
