I can feel the warmth and relaxation :)

I would be interested in seeing about an inch cropped off the bottom since can't really tell what the foreground elements are and the stars of the show are sun and sails.

Good point,Linda. Thanks. How's this? (There's a jetty between the beach and the sailboats.)

I wish it was that warm here. It has been getting pretty chilly lately.

I like both views, but in the first I kind of like the boat that balance's with the cloud above

Nice! Thanks for the look. In the end, it's your image and what YOU prefer, of course :)

Would you care to explain your settings? I agree with the I so but since the boat are at infinity you could have brought the stop down and boosted the shutter. This I'd a beautiful shot and this is not criticism just a question. Inquiring mounds want yo know.

I was shooting this in aperture mode. This is a tight zoom of a much wider scene. I wanted to shoot this in manual, but oblivious souls kept moving in front of me to shoot the scene, causing me to have to pull my tripod out of the sand and move away so the people were no longer in my way. I simply didn't have time to "do it right." I hope this explains my settings a little.
