I was at the Nazi rally in downtown K.C. Saturday and I finally had enough and was walking back to my vehicle when I stumbled upon this group of people.
They were running a prayer station near the rally site. They are all friends of mine. I used to date the woman 2nd from the left for a couple of years (this was a long time ago and believe me, she was hot!). The man on the far right was my Rabbi. He is a really cool guy. He raises the question why could not have Jesus been the Messiah? He thinks it is totally plausible from a Jewish point of view. He has written many books on the subject.
It was really nice seeing them again. They did ask me why I had not been to temple in twenty years. That was about the last time I saw them until Saturday.
