Here in Iowa most of the corn & soy beans have been harvested, blanketing the state with fields of stubble left over from picking.

Like the photo. Could have used some clouds in the empty sky, but not a photo killer.
What time of day was this shot? Looks like it might benefit from early morning or late afternoon light and shadows.

Thanks for the tips. As far as the clouds, I couldn't really wait for a different day, as snow is in the forecast before I would get back out there. This was taken around 3:15 PM, and yes another hour and 1/2 would have given it better shadows. I'll keep that in mind. I was hoping the sun is now low enough in the sky that it would provide some longer shadows, but I guess not from this angle. Thanks again.
