“If you like your health care plan, you can keep it.”

But fast forward three years to when ObamaCare is actually being implemented.

More than 500,000 people have already gotten cancellation notices in just three states: California, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield is cancelling another 76,000 in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC -- over 40% of their customers in those states.

It’s been estimated that when all is said and done, 16 million Americans will be losing the very insurance plans Barack Obama promised they could keep.

Meanwhile, the people who have signed up is a minute fraction of that.

National League of Taxpayers members saw this coming a mile away.

ObamaCare forces insurers to load up their plans with services like drug rehab, regardless of whether the customer actually needs or wants them.

The so-called “reform” effectively bans millions of plans Americans chose because they reflected their personal health needs.

And of course the new Obama-approved plans will cost far more.

Of the plans that have survived, reports of skyrocketing premiums have been flooding in from across the country.

Premiums are doubling, and in some cases, tripling.

This shouldn’t surprise anyone either.

As one health insurance expert put it, “the arithmetic is inescapable [...] no matter what people in Washington say.”

The so-called “Affordable Care Act” is anything but.

We’ve seen enough to know where this is headed. It’s time to pull the plug.

Sincerely,

Gary Paumen, President
National League of Taxpayers

Ever seen the move "Rainmaker"? The insurance companies that screw customers to make huge profits? Those are the policies that are being cancelled, the bogus insurance companies are being forced out of biusness as the Affordable Care Act requires them to pay claims and spend money on actual patient care and not profits. Hey, but you faux news watchers would not know much about facts. Keep America dumb, vote republican!

Please give an actual example instead of baseless generalities.

Do you really get your information and develop your opinions by watching movies? I guess it's easier than reading.

Prove it.

I'll presume you are sincere but those are dishonest generalities and talking points from the same people that lied to us with "I you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it". You seem to be as misinformed about this as you are about French phonetics. Do you realize that these "bogus insurance companies" include United Healthcare, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, and Kaiser? Do you realize that some of these customers were being "screwed" with lower co-pays and deductibles and lower premiums than the cheapest Obamacare plans?

Have you even paid attention to the likes of NBC, ABC, or CBS? Or the Washington Post? You don't have to watch Fox News to catch up on what's really happening contrary to more lies from the Obama team.

What part of "If you like your health plan you can keep your health plan. PERIOD!" don't you understand?

Insurance companies are in business to make a profit and, your myopic vision not withstanding, the health care insurers do an excellent job at providing effective and affordable plans that their subscribers want! What gives the government the right to decide what I want to purchase?

In 1999 the Mustang Ranch brothel was seized by the IRS following a tax evasion conviction of the brothel's owner. Under the law, the IRS had to continue operation of the brothel until it could be sold. Within three years the operation went bankrupt and the assets were sold at auction. If the government nit-wits can't even make a profit running a whorehouse and selling whiskey, what makes you think they can manage one sixth of the US Economy???

The whores in the IRS are so jealous of the prostitutes who are trying to make an honest living.
