These were shot with a Canon 50D or 5DMKII body, and Sigma 150mm or Sigma 120-400mm. Several were flashed. In the ones that were a 580EXII was used. The flash shots with the long Sig were flashed using a better beamer attached. All were handheld.

1. Condor.

Wonderful photos!! The eagle and condor and goose are my favorites. What did you do to make the chicken mad?

It was in a cage at a county fair. I have learned how to shoot through cages, fencing, and screening without it showing.

Here is another one that actually was mad at me. This male dove was courting a female. I am skilled at dove call, and started calling to the female. She actually left him and landed on a branch near me and was calling back to me….He was REALY angry.

My goodness! These are excellent bird photos! The shot of the baby Red-winged BB is one of the best I've seen. Third is a Eurasian Collared Dove.
