PS AND Nik problem

Been using both for years with no problem, Google buys
Nik and Nik support understand that someone removed all my Nik programs. They sorry and give them all back, now using Nik computer crashes PS EVERY TIME I USE IT.
I know about going into PS edit>performance>uncheck the use intel chip box.
Help out yonder,please

I noticed about 2 weeks ago that my NIK filters had stopped working in CS6, PSE11 and LR5. I called NIK's tech support number and their rep explained they had updated the collection with a new filter, Analog Efex Pro. This caused all older versions to quit working which surprised me as I didn't realize that there was a "live view" into my machine every time I started one of my imaging programs. Be that as it may, they gave me a link to download the newest version (for free), which I have since installed and have had no problems since then.

In all this, however, it did not crash CS6.

Can you email ME the link they gave you Or should I wait for Monday and spend another 2 hours with them trying to fix this thing.
I have no filters at all now that work with p/s.

I had the same problem and downloaded the new version which crashed Elements 10. So I uninstalled it and loaded the original version which was in my download folder and it's fine. I don't have the analog program but will eventually try to download that after NIK gets their act together.

Have you talked to Google? I hae had issues with Photoshop CC (which I love) and Nik, when NIK still owned it. In both instances, customer support was a great, great help.

I assume Google would be also.

I believe that Google has attempted to fix these problems. Uninstall the Nik programs then re-install from the original Google email they sent you with the upgrade link. It installs a newer version that fixes a lot of PS problems. If you do not have the original email contact Google and they will send you a new own.

I have the Google NIK bundle and this is the second time I've heard about this automatic upgrade causing problems. I'm not having any problems so I assume I either didn't get the upgrade or it's working on my PC with Photoshop CC.

But as always Google is not very user friendly. With the NIK bundle I could find no way to see the version number I have nor can I find a place to edit preferences like turning automatic updates on or off. Plus on the NIK website there is no way that I can find to determine the latest version or to download an update.

I have never had a problem with Adobe or Nik, until now.
Google saw fit to take my software that I had bought, I called them as well as adobe and Google gladly gave me my software back with an added A program. I have tried everything for a week and still P/s crashes when you save a Nik product.
At the moment I have nothing, I removed as a last resort P/s and it is the weekend and Adobe does recognize my email and serial numbers ; but not my password and keeps sending me to some automatic program that does passwords. Very confusing, will wait for a live body tomorrow and install P/S. Its been a bad week.
