Anyone had recent trouble with Photoshop and the Nik plugins?

If you opened CC (CS, or whatever) and got an error message that a file was missing (MSVCP110.dll) you are not alone. Google (Nik) automatically sent out an update and new program to everyone that has the Nik Collection. Turns out that update was buggy and removed a needed file for CC and Nik to work. So go to the Complete Collection download page and you will have to REDOWNLOAD it to get that .dll file back to normal.

Happened to me and the new download froze Elements 10 so I downloaded toe original collection instead. I loose out on the new analog program, but maybe it will work in the future as they work out the bugs.

If you recently downloaded the complete collection again, isn't the new "film look, analog program" part of that package now? It was for me.

These are he problems that happen when you mix and match software. ADobe does not care, and NIK has to make it work.

Yes, I had that problem.
I had the error message 5 or 6 times so I presume it was an error for each of the modules.
I fiddled a bit without really knowing what I was doing, and then the error only came up once, so I was sort of temporarily happy with that, and was going to fix the final bit in a few days when I got sick of it.
Opened CS5 tonight and no error messages and Analog loads and works.
So I am guessing Nik sent out an auto-update fix.

I'm so glad this question came up! I've had this problem, too. I've also had other problems with the computer, so I never would have guessed this is what was wrong. I now have it working again. UHH rocks!!!

I am not sure how go back to the page for download, the only thing I have is an email with a web address for making the download from nik or google. educate me please. A friend sent me some info on downloading msvcp110.dll but not sure I DID IT RIGHT. My friend is having his own problems, I hate to bother him

Yes, I got the link from a friend in the Hog and downloaded it. It did not solve my problem, so I removed P/S TO RE- INSTALL. Adobe recognized my email and my purchase codes but not my password and sent me to a program where I am supposed to get a new password. I was very complicated so I elected to do without until I get life body on the phone. Monday is a holiday so imagine it will be Tues before I can reinstall. I may never get a live with this Cloud thing they have going.
Oh well things have got to get better, this week has been a bummer.
Thanks for responding
