Keep an eye on the Tamron site. They might have one refurbished which would be just as good as new since they are really checked over by the company. A lot of photographers on this site buy lenses that way. I bought a canon 7D refurbished last November and it was like new and I saved myself almost $1000.00. Give them a try....Rich

The 10-22 is a Canon lens. It would help if you added what type of camera you have. Canon, Nikon, and others all have different mounts. If you shoot a Canon crop camera, you may want to look at the Canon EF-S 10-22 USM. I use one of these a good bit for landscapes, it is a stellar lens, and IQ is next to "L" quality.

That price seems to good to be true. be careful. very careful for it might be gray market or a switch and bait unless you are getting it from Tamron direct or from B&H or another reliable co....Rich

I notice you are "in hiding". That makes it difficult for anyone of us to be able to tell you what is a fair price. Prices tend to be location sensitive. This means if you live in a economically depressed area, the prices will be lower than if you live well off metro area. I live in New Orleans, and used lenses, and new lenses seem to cost a bit more than in near by Mississippi. If you are looking for great image quality, you will pay more. People who sell their used lenses know what they have, and know how to price them.
