Looks like your flash is going to get a workout! Make sure you have extra batteries.(Wouldn't hurt to have an extra flash if you can afford it. Equipment never breaks down at an opportune moment!) You may want to read both camera and flash manuals to see how to lower the power. You don't want those photos that makes everyone look like they were lit with a giant spotlight.
Use the studio. Get out the props. Invite the whole wedding patty to have fun in from of the camera. If you don't have a studio find an area at the venue and set up a big backdrop. With props. Lights the works.
They did this at the studio for my daughters wedding in a blizzard.
The photos were awsom. The wine was great. Every shot was amazing. The photographer said it was the most fun he ever had shooting a wedding.
And no I would not shoot my daughters wedding. Lol

Same strategy as if the weather is good; take good images, get the important ones, expose correctly...don't get your equipment so wet it gets ruined.

where does your experience come from when you are shooting your first wedding?

Be experienced at general photograpy, work for/with an established Pro' Photographer. Learn/look-in/ practice from the side-lines, untill you are confident in your own abilities. It might take a while, in my case, it did not happen overnight. But I ran/enjoyed running my own business for over fourty years.

First and foremost LEARN to use your camera inside out and back to front and have a good idea of what your settings should be on in most LIGHTING conditions. Know that when your camera meters for a white object it will see it as grey and your image will come out grey, you have to compensate to make it white, boost your EV or lower your SS depending on which mode you are using on your camera.

If you were a photographer, you would know what to do. You do not say what camera you are using, the lens, lighting equipment, spare camera, helper. Too many envision themselves being a wedding photographer. This is a one time only affair. You can not do it over again. You are expected to product quality photos. Do you have a contract that specifies what is expected of you? Tell them to hire a wedding photographer, and if they complain what a photographer charges, then they have a problem. No one can tell you how to shoot a wedding. It takes experience, not an exotic camera with a bunch of zoom lenses.
Hey why get your gear wet and ruin? No wedding is worth doing that. Either do it indoors or no shoot.
I can't imagine anyone wanting to get married outside in bad weather (rain)
