Too much?

This was a breathtaking scene, but I feel it is way too busy. Not sure if it could be cropped? The leaves to the right seem out of place? Just not sure. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I can see what you mean. Could you crop it for just the water maybe, just keeping its reflection? Or toning the trees on the bank down, just a thought. Beautiful shot tho....

It is a striking scene. I believe the green leaves in the foreground could be easily removed if you'd allow it. Then you decide whether or not to crop a bit off the right side of the image. Just do the "store original" if you're interested.

I like the image because .... it makes me wish I could go there and see it.

Yeah I wonder if I just tone it down a bit. Thanks so much!

I feel your pain, Amy. This happens to me every time. I think it's best to try smaller snippets of a big scene like this at first. The big enchilada is a tough one to do right.

It is beautiful. The only think distracting for me here are the green leaves in the foreground on the right. As for toning down the trees, the reflection will tone down too.

A very serene, lovely image. Will be interested to see if with leaves removed by expert pp :)

I tried a few things. I ended up feeling that the dark on the right side is too much and detracts. I tried just upping the shadows but it didn't do it...too many leafless trees.

I like this a little better. One idea anyway.

I like this better. Your eyes can go to the stream and ride it through the frame without distraction.

Agree the light green leaves need to go but the darker tones on the seem to help move you visually into the photo. The cloud and sky area seem a little too bright or lacking in detail when compared to the rest of the photo. Did you try anything reducing that area and putting more focus on reflection?
