First time in this section for me.
I was using a canon t3i 18-55 kit lens
This picture was taken in landscape mode.
I took a few others in manual and aperture priority
this was my best shot the camera did all the work
My main objective was to capture the colors and the darks and lights as I viewed them
Nice, like the colors. The depth is great.
I like it. The color is great, and I often say "There is No Light like Back Light." What I could wish is that the picnic bench not be there. It competes for attention with the foreground bench that I think is the anchor of the shot. The problem is that if you were to clone out the picnic bench, you'd then have the problem of cloning out its shadows. It'd be a conundrum: when taking the picture, do you first go drag the picnic bench out of frame, assuming that's possible (many are chained down or even set in concrete). I really like the picture. I love the light and color, but darn that picnic benchÂ… :D
I also like it. The bench, table and tree make the photo feel lopsided. The darn bench, I agree with Chuck but for a different reason.

I agree with Chuck, I too was thinking that "if only that picnic table weren't there". Great light, great color, and I love the perspective.

Hello all
Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment.
Now I see the picnic table is off balance with this picture.
One of the problems I seem to have is adding to much into the frame. I am still learning and the people on uhh forum are helping me along the way.
thank you again

I'm great for rushing in and shooting my subject without taking note of what's getting in the frame with it. I think that's the main reason I have to crop things. I'm getting better, but I still do it often. :)
Make that 3 of us. I have been trying to really work on seeing what else is in the frame BEFORE I push the shutter button. I have a T3i also and love it. The color and light are beautiful and the shadows make a nice geometric pattern on the leaves.

Thank you smcaleer and momma deb for taking the time to look and comment. When I took the picture I thought the picnic table add something to the photo. As other's have commented it seems to be a distraction I now see what they see without the table.
And we all learn together by sharing our photos on the uhh forum. thank you to ever one .
