Took this shot last month, but failed to post. I think it was a dead Wolf Spider (?) on the carpet in my sunroom. Looked like a little "Alien" movie creature (one little creature living inside another bigger creature) with the two sets of eyes. Played with the picture in Smart Photo Editor, using the Neon effect and it ended up looking like a witch doctor to me. My family thinks I'm weird taking macro shots of spiders. You can imagine what they think of me now!

That neon spider is cool.!!!! My friend hates spiders but I'm going to make her look at this one just because!!!!

And don't worry....my family thinks I'm a bit off in the head too, especially when I go chasing after insects.....but I just ignore them. I tell them they obviously do not understand the heart of an artist so they should just sit back and enjoy!!!

Thanks Singing Swan... you made my day! Hope your friend enjoys it. I like your perspective on our hobby. I'm going to borrow your philosophy.

I have no quarrel with spiders in general, but this one, particularly in neon, scares the hell out of me. I'd hate to be a fly... in more ways than one. :D

After viewing your third photo, I had to 'up' my anxiety medication!

Bazinga? I certainly hope so. I especially wanted you to enjoy this one! After all, I wouldn't be able to do these special effects if you hadn't steered me to the Smart Photo Editor website last year. I emailed them and explained that my old computer had crashed and they helped me reinstall SPE on my new computer for free. Very nice!

He looks scary enough in the first photo, let alone the last! Thanks for the fright.

You're welcome. I thought he looked kind of pretty on the floor... until I saw him through the camera lens while lying on my stomach! My husband kept saying, "Are you sure he is dead!" heeheehee
