Hi, I'm new to hedgehog and am looking forward to some great conversation and feedback.
I am currently looking for a good light weight point and shoot. Any ideas out there?

I have a Nikon AW100. Think the model has been updated since I bought mine. I like it because it is extremely rugged and I don't have to worry about it in rough conditions or getting wet.

What do you like to photograph, and what is your budget? Once you decide those then you can look at cameras available that fit your photo goals and budget. There are a lot of good choices but they don't all excel at the same things.

I like Canon's Power Shot line. Anywhere from $70.00 up to several hundred. Good lenses and small/compact.

I have a Fuji SL300 point and shoot. It has a 30x zoom and I find it easy to use. Great panorama feature also. The replacement for that is the Fuji SL 1000 which has a 50x zoom. I don`t believe they`re making the 300 anymore.
Good luck.

I own a canon A1300. Small simple with good features and an optical
Viewfinder. I also enjoy my Canon SX40 a zoom lens bridge camera.

The very best is: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 II
It is not called the professional's point and shoot for nothing.
handles Raw with ease and the result awe as good or better than any
SLR out there, Of course it is expensive.... it has to be !
