That's a well done classic scene in warm light. The only thing I can suggest is to eliminate the dark oval-shaped shadow on the mid-ground shoreline rocks near the center line of the photo, on the left. It is pulling my eyes away from the rest of the photo.

Thanks Heirloom. I thought that shadow was actually a log with a hole in it. Not so sure now, it's either a shadow or maybe a hole in the rocks. Anyway, took care of it, like it better? 8-)

I thought it was always the little "white things" that distracted people :D

I do like it, Bmac! First-rate black hole removal, the job is done! It's a beautiful photo.

I like it; but I'm not sure if you need as much on the right side of the photo. The sailboat is nice; but it is quite small in the image. If you were to crop the right side some, it would make the leading line of the shore more dramatic. I do like the sky. Very nice photo.

That was one of the reasons I posted this one here, as I was wondering whether there was just too much in the composition and if a crop would be applicable. Thanks Ebrunner for the critique. 8-)

Its pretty, nice colours, reasonable composition, the blue might be a little intense.
I find the polarised uneveness of the blue in the sky unattractive.
Is it HDR? The sky doesn't look natural.
Nice snapshot though.
I'd like to see a stronger foreground element to give the eyes a subject to lock onto and lead in.

Thanks for the detailed critique Lighthouse. I actually toned the sky down a bit in PP, but I was using a polarizing filter. No, it's not HDR, did lighten the shadows some though. 8-)

I like it very much. Makes for a simpler and better composition. Thanks Linda. :D

I like the original crop to start with. Really nice leading line from the top left corner of your photo, gives your photo depth and leads you out to the back center of the photo and drops you off. I wish the sail boat was right at that point and held me there for a minute. My only real complaint would be the sky has 3 or 4 different shades of blue and the white fluffy clouds dead center at the top edge of photo. Nice capture.
