Pse 11

After installing OS10.9 on my Mac, and have PSE 11 active in the Dock, whenever I attempt to open an image by selecting "Open In" from outside of Pse, a new instance of PSE 11 opens to accept the image. In other words, the currently open instance of PSE is not recognized, so I wind up with two open versions of PSE. Any thoughts? Is anyone experiencing this problem?

Are you sure that one is not Elements organizer and the other Elements editor ?

Yes...its a full version of Elements Editor...not Organizer....had no problem before adding OS10.9

Yes, That happens with me too using Windows 7.
And if you keep attempting to open other photos individually "open with PSE11" you will have multiple sessions of PSE11 open. I think it is a default function. Also occurs with other software I have, not just PSE11.
The trick is to open PSE11, then when in PSE11 software, open multiple images. They will all end up in the "photo bin" ready for fixing in a single session.
