If I keep all settings on the camera the same, can different brands of lens have different color casts to the pictures? And if on AV, will each lens result in camera selecting.different shutter speed?

I'm thinking yes....

The color will be different on each lens shutter speed might stay the same if the same F stop is chosen

The lens coating can make different makes of lenses render color differently. That's why pros tend to use the same brand of lenses. Left over from film days. Nowadays, with PS, not such a big deal.

Thanks hangman & mpeter. I noticed this when I borrowed someone's Tamron lens. I have Canon. So it wasn't just me. The Tamron seemed like it had more of a reddish color. I'm sticking,with.Canon.
