Little Yellow Jacket eating a smaller bug

Went out with the dog & saw this guy on the AC unit outside...Went back in after walking the dog to get the camera so as to get a few images since it's getting harder to find many bugs. Upon enlarging this shot, it appears that it had some smaller bug in it's mouth parts. I guess they eat other bugs as well as eating nectar... Learn something new everyday...

Good photo by the way.... And I'm not surprised....they love meat. Just put some on the grill-- and try to eat it outside-- and they'll be all over you. Nasty little critters!

Omnivores as I understand. They do have a bit of an attitude. I get along just fine with wasps, hornets and honey bees, but YJ's you just can not talk too.
