Rare sighting in this part of the country (Houston)

I wasn't so sure I would ever see this sign again and vowed I would take a picture if I did. :D

There was. I cropped them out to draw the focus to the most uncommon of the three.

Actually, we had 2.99/9 Regular around here a few weeks ago - then it went up to around 3.15 but has dropped again and now there are several stations down around 3.03/9
One of the few benefits of New Jersey - we have a very low gas tax compared to NY/PA/DE. Just over the river in New Castle county gas is usually 15-20 cents per gallon higher.

I can not UNDERSTAND now that gas is way over a dollar a gallon and we still pay "9/10" per gallon. When will they just take that "9/10" and raise it up 1/10. I hear all the time people say ...oh I got gas for 2.99 per gallon!! REALLY think it was 2.99...Put one gallon of gas in your car and I bet you pay $3.00 not $2.99.9.....Is $19.99 only $19 or is it $20. Oh how advertisers have been able to convince us what we pay for things.
My kids always thought that they SAVED money when they bought one got one free. Not until they got older did they realize that they ONLY SAVED money when they did NOT spend it. When they have 50% off doesnt mean that you save 50%, it just means you spend 50% less. Spending is spending and Savings is savings!
