The quality I see here is truly amazing and intimidating. So I included these to help lower the standard.
I spend a fair amount of time in the field with non-photographers who have no patience with waiting for me. I have to snap and run. It took these hand held. Both were made of 2 or 3 images that I cobbled together in Photoshop Elements. Not true stacking.

I like the shot of the trichostema. I love names of plants that are descriptive. Hairy stem, narrow long pointed leaves. How clear can it be.
No need to be intimidated Kim, you have a good eye and help maintain our high standards. I too like the flower shot though I find it hard to imagine it could fell a Tyrannosaurus.

Hi Kim, I would have cropped it tighter, the beautiful color of the plant needs to dominate the image. just my opinion.
