Even though I don't shoot portraits professionally any more I still take my fair of them. I love people with expressive faces and have a knack for making people look good. Wilbur is a good friend that I see & talk to on a daily basis. I'm part of his coffee clutch at McDonald's just down the street. He and his wife, Donna, have been going there daily for many years. I've snapped many a photo of Wilbur sitting across the corner bench seat where we always sit. I decided the background through the window behind him was distracting so I put on a more appealing one. I'll bet you can't tell me what's now behind him?

Nope I can't, but in some ways I like Wilbur one better because it puts him someplace. Does that make sense?

In the revision he's standing in from of a wall of hay bales. I applied a heavy Gaussian blur just to bled the textures.
