Although the lighting and exposure are interesting, darkening a tad might look good also. You may wish to try either placing the rose off center or cropping in tighter and filling the frame more with the subject. All subjective viewpoints. 8-)

Thanks just toolk a few quick shots as wind was blowing and rain was moving in and wanted 1 last shot before the weather took its toll on them.

I love the way the petals are delicately limned with pale light. I think this would work cropped to a square, cropping all off the right. There's something about the background that's bothering me—a color dissonance or something. If I'd made it, I think I'd try making the background monochrome. A really nice picture with great potential!
