The shot was taken with a Canon 50D I believe the f/stop was 11, Sigma 150mm f/2.8 macro, 580EXII flash in a side bracket with a soft box, handheld.
Take one. The original shot. I was not happy with the quality but I very much liked several of the shapes that I saw in the shot.

Take 2. I removed the flower using CS5 content aware. I was liking what I saw more and more.
