Last week I was Rock Climbing with my daughter and son in law. Here are some worthy photos of Jessica climbing. I also posted another photo of her at:

Are you adding a texture?
The sky looks funny in the next to last, and the rock texture is completely different from shot to shot.

Yes Wall-E, I am adding texture to all except the last one which was the original photo. The sky looks funny in the second to last image because I allowed the texture to go on the sky too. For me it doesn't bother me, but for you it seems like it does. I did vary the texture from shot to shot that's why they are not all the same. I also added some dark edges on a couple to force the viewer to look at the climber.

It looks like your daughter is headed down, head down, into some funky water.

And, if you're going to show a sequence, then consistency is key.
The same effects, applied to the same degree.

And I see why you had to add the vignette. Your daughter is dead center in some of the images. You're pushing the eye to look at her, rather than leading it.

Maybe recrop to move her to the lower left double-thirds crossing, with the cliff looming above her?

Thanks Wall-E for your suggestions. These photos never were intended to be a sequence. I have many more of her and also my son in law climbing. For me personally, none of the photos bother me at all.......which includes cropping, positioning of the climber in reference to the rest of the image or anything else like textures in the sky. If you would like to play with the images, I give you full persmission to mess with them. I'd like to see what you come up with, so please re-post your reworked images back on this thread! Thanks Wall-E.

I like them very much, texture and all and am particularly glad I can enjoy this activity without having to physically participate!

Petrifying shots! If there were 100 activities that I would consider pursuing, this would be 101.

There was a time when I spent hours up in trees. I think I was 12!

When I discovered I could see the sights from the back of a horse much better...well...the rest is history as they say.

You can be just as dead from a bad fall off of a horse as from a cliff I suppose.

I feel the set should be titled "Vertigo". Great set again. Can't see any classic artistic style here. Definitely an original.

I've been skydiving several times & would go again in a heartbeat but I'd take cyanide before I'd ever go rock climbing. It absolutely terrifies me.
