Canon 50D, 10X microscope objective, in the macro workstation, 580 EXII and 430 EX flashes with soft boxes.

The IQ is not great because the objective was a low price one ($40.00). I think that after a couple of years of using it (shot from last year) I am ready to buy the $180.00 Nikon 20x.

Thank you Nikonian :)

I am having a problem trying to decide which way I should go. Spend the near to $1,000 to be able to get seriously into high mag macro/micro photography with the stack shot, and other gear. Or the $1,400 to pick up the Canon 400mm prime to get into the bottom floor of birding. I have the Sig 120-400 zoom but I should have known that I would not be happy with the quality.

Don't really have the money for either. But where there is a will...
