No, I used the MT-24 twin head flash in a Novoflex bracket with 19" arms. I did some enhancing with Topaz, nothing drastic.

WOW, that's cool.

Just started working with the Topaz trial. What did you do with Topaz, if you don't mind me asking?

I shoot only in RAW.

I took this shot last year, and never wright down what I do in PP.

I know that I did NR in DeNoise4 at the RAW Light setting, fix color edge in DeJpeg. I may have used Mid color pop, mid contrast pop and exposure correction in adjust 4 (I now have adjust 5)

I used Unsharp mask in CS5. Set at
1. Amount 60%
2. Radius 1.8 pixels
3. Threshold 0 levels

The color, contrast, saturation, levels were adjusted in iPhoto.

As an addition, The 6 blade aperture of the 65 is what gives the strong geometric shape to the background light sources (light reflecting on the dewdrops in the web)

Thank you river lass :)

Yes it is a spider web. Taken in the early morning hours before the dew drops burned off.

Looks like parts of the web in the back, which would be VERY close to the front, are Bokeh'd nicely. I'm guessing your aperture was very wide, like 2.8, 1.4?

This educational for me. :-)

Actually in macro I set the camera to f/11 with the 65 (with the Sig 150mm macro I am willing to go higher, it has an f/ stop of 22 so I will go to f/16-18). There are times that I will use the 65's max of f/16 but you run into a image quality problem. So generally it will be f/11 with the 65. The DOF in high mag macro is so thin that you do not really gain enough with the smaller f/stops to make the lower IQ worth it. That is where image stacking comes in. This is not a stacked photo but if I were to stack with the 65 at 5:1 I would use f/8. That seems to be the "sweet" spot for this particular lens.
