This was not a happy baby. She did not want to sleep at all. I think her tummy did not feel up to having pictures today. I still wanted to keep her but mom said no. LOL Let me know what you think.

I like this pose very much!
Also, it's nice to see a wrap instead of nothing.
Something different!
Pat
I like it, I like the pose given to the baby and the open space above the baby. The colors are soft, very nice!
Your cheating - Excellent

Lovely baby and pose. I think the empty space above detracts from the overall image.

The subject has a built in Emotion factor that all relate to.
Sorry should have posted the  after the cheating.
Your image was well composed and executed and evoked emotion.
I agree with joer...love the pose and everything, but I think there is to much space above. Thanks GP

My eye never leaves the bottom 30% of the picture. I'd love to see it cropped for comparison. It would feel more balanced and allow attention to detail to be focused more toward the infant. A great shot both in lighting and sharpness. Really good!

One of the reasons I left so much room at the top was to add text for a birth announcement. I do like the look with the negative space, I do realize a lot of folks don't.
Here is a view without the extra space at the top. I do really like this crop too.
WOW! This shot caused my eye to rush to the infant's face and stay there. I felt like I was going to see the child breathing. Love the way my concentration was shifted and focused. Love this one. I must call my wife in to see it.
Thanks for the share. :) :)

Thanks! I knew you would like it better. LOL

The crop seems to give it more depth here and I really like it; your idea to leave extra space on top for an annocument is very valid and good. For wall hanging I would go with the crop and for annocuments, use your initial post. Great job...thanks
I put 13x19 photos of my children like this around my bedroom walls. They look so happy and peaceful and that causes the whole room to be a wonder place of rest. When I awake in the morning, there they are. It causes me to think about and pray in behalf of my children every day. :)
