Something we do all the time so why not capture the moment! Wrapped the camera strap tight around my neck, took a practice shot to get the focus right and set it on timer. I used my 5D MkIII, 16-35mm f/2.8L II

Wonderful idea and a beautiful shot you'll always treasure. She's a real cutie pie with a million dollar smile.

Excellent!
Oh to be young again
And spun about, in the air
With love and tenderness by mom
With nary a care...

Thank you so much everyone! Its rare we capture the everyday fun moments. We pose and prepare to shots. Pure joy captured in time. :D

While the perspective is unusual, it seems to work. My eye easily flowed from the top center right to the face of the child and locked on the joy in the experience. Nice creative view and thinking. I'll be looking for what you come up with next. Creativity like this knows no limits.

Thank you GP! I used 1/125, f/5.6 and iso100. I wanted to have a good blur in the background. Seemed to work. ;)
