Denver Zoo Animals

Every once in a while, I go to the zoo to work on images and video technique. I get the volume of subjects, composing and lighting challenges that help me progress. The Denver Zoo is a large zoo that is always bringing new animals in to produce offspring. Yesterday they had two new lions, a young male and female they are hoping to have mate in the next 6 to 12 months. They were very friendly and I took advantage of the overcast sky to take some shots.

He really does! Of all the shots I took of this animal, he looked the hungriest in this one.
